In-person workshop · Prince Edward County
AI doesn't have
to be scary.
A relaxed, two-hour evening for anyone curious — or nervous — about AI. No experience, no jargon, no hype. Just a real person showing you what it actually is and how to use it.
Free · 2 hours · Date to be announced
Who it's for
If you've been meaning to "figure out AI" but didn't know where to start — this is it.
This is for the curious and the skeptical alike — people who keep hearing about AI and want a straight, jargon-free answer about what it is and whether it's useful to them.
No background needed. Come as nervous or as doubtful as you like. You'll leave having actually used it on something real — and knowing where it helps and where it doesn't.
What we'll do
Two hours, hands-on and relaxed — you'll be using it, not just hearing about it.
01
What AI actually is
In plain language — no jargon. What it can do, what it can’t, and which of the scary headlines are actually true.
02
See it work
A live look at AI handling real, everyday things — so it stops being abstract and starts being useful.
03
Try it yourself
Hands-on, on your own phone or laptop. Write an email, plan a trip, get unstuck on something real. The part where it clicks.
04
Where it helps, where to be careful
Privacy, mistakes, and when NOT to trust it. An honest look — not a sales pitch.
05
What now
Simple next steps to keep going at your own pace, plus time for every question you’ve been afraid to ask.

Questions
I'm not techy at all. Is this really for me?
Especially for you. No experience needed and no jargon — we go at your pace, together. If you can use a phone, you can do this.
Do I need to buy or download anything?
No. Bring a phone or a laptop and that’s it. We use free tools and set everything up together in the room.
Are you going to push me to use AI?
No. This is honest — including where AI is overhyped and where you shouldn’t rely on it. You leave deciding for yourself what’s actually useful to you.
I'm skeptical about AI.
Good — bring the skepticism. You’ll get straight answers and a real look at the trade-offs, not hype.
Save me a spot
